Write a critique of a movie or performance you have seen recently. Be sure to support your opinions about the acting, the script, and the production with appropriate details.

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

i thought of fast and furious and sory for the late reply

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

So what help do you need with it?

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

i need tips of how to start

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

So if a friend walked up to you and said, "What did you think of Fast and Furious?" how would you reply? As you two get into talking about it, what would you say were the best and worst moments in the film? Make some notes of how you would do this informal conversation on the film. Then rewrite those with more detail and add in quotes or short descriptions of scenes that support this viewpoint. Also, a critique usually takes a point of view. For example, there are feminist viewpoint critiques that break down how the women are treated and depicted in things. They highlight both the good and the bad. The talking to a friend viewpoint is, as a critique, more like the entertainment value viewpoint. So you are taking the position, "This is a good way to spend some time because..." or "Don't waste your money on this film because..." and even, "Guys will have a blast but this is not a date movie because..."
