which unit would likely to measure a bathtub?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Asking it twice won't help much. The same people see it both times.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

feet maybe?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

idk, you wouldn't measure it with a millimeter.... rule it out lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A bathtub is usually made for a person. In countries where they use the metric system they use meters to measure people and therefore bathtubs.

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

yeah how are people usually measured? XD I, for one, am 5 feet, 6 inches, basically 5 and a half inches

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In modern countries they measure you in meters.

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

'Murica just wanted to be unique, land of the free and all XD. But what do u want to measure in the bathtub? area? Weight? volume? perimeter? it really varies with what you want to measure @kfrench30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the beauty of metric is that all of those are SI derived Except for weight :P

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

well of course :P Idk where and when in this vast world 'Murica decided to be different from everyone else

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Greed and stubborness?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

probably :P who knows these days... oh well

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Or you might measure it in kelvin... if you wanted the water temperature for your physicist that was about to bathe.

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

lol but its not referring to water temperature, only the bathtub itself @e.mccormick

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

It just says bathtub! It might be the measured shipping weight for all we know.

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

haha a valid point

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

the wording of this question leaves much to be desired

OpenStudy (anonymous):

usually when shipping they usually just care about it's 3D dimensions.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

So does the asker!

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

When shipping it is the 3 dimensions an real weight.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bathtub is usually hollow and doesn't weigh much relatively to the transport.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

What if it is cast iron and lined with porcelain? Stone?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

lol i want a cast iron bath tub lined with gold $_$ I am a classy chica XD

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):
