Find the equation of a parabola through (-1, -3) and (2, 3/2) whose axis is parallel to the y axis and latus rectum equal to 6. The answers are (x-5)^2= -6(y-3) and (x+4)^2 = 6(y+27/6). Please help me. I don't know how to get the (h,k) and even the answers given the said points and the rectum. Can you show it to me step by step??
