A line segment with endpoints Q negative three comma two and R negative one comma negative five is dilated with the origin as the center of dilation. The resulting endpoints are Q prime negative nine comma six and R prime negative three comma negative fifteen. What is the scale factor? one-ninth one-third 3 9

It's much easier and faster to read a problem if you write points as Q(-3, 2) instead of "Q negative three comma two." Also, use Q' instead of Q prime.

If ABCD was dilated using a scale factor of 2 and a line was drawn horizontally through the center of the dilated figure, what would you notice about the two lines?
