OpenStudy (anonymous):

@satellite73 @Hero @dpaInc @jim_thompson5910 @joemagee HELP?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

31 E looks good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes! omfg im doing good so far ^-^ how about the other ones though?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

32 E is just way off (sounds like you guessed here?) no month has 41 days since the highest day count is 31 days (besides it's a 30 day pass anyway)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

redo 32 and tell me what you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i guess on that one :( & alright! :)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

33 B is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so far i know that its $5 per day to & from work then i multiply it times 30 cause the number of days but after that i dont know what to do wait am i kinda close to the right path?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

solve 5x = 100 for x tell me what you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

20! so its A then! :D

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

no not so fast

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

if you ride for 20 days exactly, then the cost is $100 for both plans but if you ride for 21 days, then the monthly pass will cost $100 (it's fixed at $100) but the individual day cost is 5*21 = 105 dollars

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so on day 21, you start to save money with the monthly pass

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh :( wait i get you with 20 days you're wasting exactly 100$ but after that you begin saving so it would be 21 no?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

exactly

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

34 D is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks so muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! omfg dude you have safe me real talk!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you're welcome, glad to be of help (even though you're doing all the work really)
