how to find slope?

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Rise/run :) If you are given 2 points on a graph then you can find the slope or the slant by (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) If you've been given a line equation then the slope is 'm' in the line y=mx+b [WHICH IS THE STANDARD FORM OF A LINE] Say you are given a line and you've got to find the slope. x-2y=4 [To find slope wirte in standard form] Or 2y=x-4 Or y=x/2-2 So the slope will be m value? So the slope in this case would be 1/2 [THE m VALUE] Did you get it cleared? :)

you can find that with tanzhant formula very easy .

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

@E.ali : y2-y1/x2-x1 IS the tangent itself!! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

something with you have to multiply the main slope incline number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@akashadeepdeb and markckie :I think you are not anderstood . when we have a line in Coordinate system have a Linear equation too and X and Y ، d and Coefficients . whith putting them in tangant formul or have angle we can find slope very easy .

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Okay. :)
