Both plans are expressed as a linear combination of days at a hotel and days at an amusement park. You only know the summary prices of combinations of both, so let's designate a day at the hotel as 'h' and a day at the park as 'p'. You have two packages to choose from, namely: First plan (3 days hotel and 2 days park) for 450. This can be captured in the following equation: 3*h + 2*p = 450 Along a similar line, you can find an equation for the second plan. Can you do that ?

Without giving away too much already, I can tell you that you will get two equations (one for the first plan, the other for the second plan) and two unknowns (a and h). Solve these two and you will find both a and h. h is then your answer. Let me know if you have trouble solving both equations, OK ?
