Two examples each for Qualitative/ordinal, qualitative/nominal, quantitative/discrete, and quantitative/continous

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Qual/ordinal is ranked but without a mathematically-defined difference between ranks, e.g., performance evaluations of "exceptional, average, below average" Qual/nominal simply classifies data into categories without ranking. Maybe different majors at a university, or phone number exchanges. Quant/discrete is numerical and can be counted. The number of cans of peas on the shelf. Quant/continuous is numerical on a continuous scale. The weight of all the meat in the meat case, or the heights of players on a basketball team.

Now see if you can use that to come up with your own examples of each. :)
