How do you find the slope of a line and use it to write an equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find the slope of a line use the formula m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) given this value, use it in the formula y = mx + b b which is the y intercept can be solved using either one of the coordinates (x,y) given and the value of m With now a value for m and b, you van use that in y = mx + b
