What's the LaTex command for simply bolding and/or italicizing a single word?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

\(hi\) i believe you just put it in the italic that should work! :) also you can change sizes and fonts... if you want help just let me know :D

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

like so `\(hi\)`

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Test: regular word italicized word \(italics\). OK, I see how that works. How about bold?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

idk lemme see....

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

\(\huge\bf{hi}\)

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

\(you~are~totally~welcome~:3\)

thomaster (thomaster):

I see you already found out :) You don't have to use the { } after /it or /bf by the way `\(\huge\bf hi\)`\(\huge\to\bf hi\) `\(\huge\it hi\)` \(\huge\to\it hi\)

More good stuff. Thanks.
