a particular line has x-intercept at 6 and y-intercept at the origin. [the slope = 3/2] 1) write an equation of a line perpendicular to the above line that passes through point (-6,-3) 2) P(3,6) Q(-1,-2) where does the line intersect the y-axis ?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

that line is impossible...."x-intercept at 6 and y-intercept at the origin"

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

could you double-check the question ,see if it gives another y-int

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

if line crosses origin, then both x and y intercepts are at 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question is correct. i just wanted to make sure this was impossible to do cause i had a really hard time figuring this out.

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

oh ok weird

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is. thank you.
