What are the coordinates of the point at which the line passing through the points (1,-3) and (-2,4) intersects the y-axis?

OpenStudy (debbieg):

The point where a line intersects the y-axis is the y-intercept, given by b when you write the equation of the line in the form y=mx+b. You have 2 points, so use the slope formula to find the slope. Then plug that slope (m), and either point, into the equation y=mx+b, and you'll be able to solve for b. That's the y-coordinate of the point. And since it's on the y-axis, you know that the x-coordinate of the point is.......? (what?)
