Please help with systems of equations!! x - 3y + 4z = -9 2x + y + 3z = 6 x - 4y + 3z = -9 I used substition and isolated x in the first equation. I then substiuted that into both equations. After i eliminated x i used elimination to solve for z and got 3.25. Is this right?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to know if you're right, plug in for x and y. then plug those in to any row and see if for example x + 3y + 4(3.25) = -9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your methodology sounds correct though. substituting twice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It solved and its not even close to right andi have no idea where i went wrong

probably just an error with double negatives or something.
