help please! If = 184°, what is m∠ABC? https://media.glynlyon.com/g_geo_2012/13/img_geou13a_53.gif - 92° - 88° - 90° - 84°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

? = 184

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

oh sorry! its arc ABC= 184 degrees

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

hey @ttop0816 can you post the pic. as an attachment? i cannot upload the pic. on my laptop :/

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

@Jamierox4ev3r sure!

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

just kidding i found it my browser is really, idk... discombobulated? :P

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

@Jamierox4ev3r hahaha okay! do you think you can help me answer the question?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

yes hold on tho..

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

its been a while since I've done geometry so im trying to think

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

@Jamierox4ev3r hahaha okay!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its 90

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

@pak_asfand please don't just provide answers... refer to the following link http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait i am wrong

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

.....and that's why u don't provide answers!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahh ya no i always give the method too

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

@Jamierox4ev3r im sorry ): then do you think you can help me with another question??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I misread the question sorry

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

@pak_asfand so its not 90??

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

please keep that in mind or else moderators on this website may get you in trouble, and no one wants that! and @ttop0816 i am probably more confused then you are... lol :P omg gah geometry is eluding me .... and i could try to answer another question

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

lol the first part of that of that comment was directed towards @pak_asfand

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

@Jamierox4ev3r then what about this question?? Given that line l and line m are parallel, if m∠1 = 34°, and m∠2 = 116°, what is m∠3? https://media.glynlyon.com/g_geo_2012/13/img_geou13a_96.gif - 34° - 36° - 63° - 64°

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

can you post an attachement? idk why but my internet refuses to let me access the links -.-

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

@Jamierox4ev3r

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ttop0816 can vouch for me when i say that not only do i give the final ans i always show them how to get there i am helping him/her for the last 20 or so mins

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

well angle 1 and angle 2 added together is what? if you find this, then you find the angle measurement of the top of the triangle b/a a line equals 180 degrees. Now this i can solve :)

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

so basically add angle 1 and angle 2 together and then subtract from 180. THen that value is the top angle measure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anyways it seems you got this sorry if broke any of the rules i should go through them

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

its okay :) you seem like a good user @pak_asfand

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

@Jamierox4ev3r 116 + 34= 150 180-150= 30!

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

right and the angle on the bottom lefthand corner is congruent to angle two b/a the two lines are parallel! so add angle 2 and 30 together. then subtract that from 180 as the measures of any triangle ALWAYS equal 180 degrees.

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

116+30= 146 180-146= 34 degrees right?!

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

right! so 34 degrees is your answer. Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

@Jamierox4ev3r yes it does! thank you so much! if you dont mind, could you help me with some other questions too??

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

yea sure i will do my best.. if you could please post a new question, as this one is starting to get a bit laggy for me :P
