If triangle GOU is similar to triangle EFN, what is known about the angles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just started geometry and I'm really confused about this question :/

OpenStudy (jack1):

so if GOU and GFN are "alike triangles" then the length of GO is a ratio of the length of EF; the length of OU is the same ratio of the length of FN; and the length of UG is the same ratio of the length of NE mathematically: length GO = "k" times EF length OU = "k" times FN length UG = "k" times NE this also means that angle G = angle E angle O = angle F angle U = angle N hope this helps?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The definition of congruent triangles is: If two triangles are congruent, then each pair of corresponding angles is congruent.

OpenStudy (jack1):

sorry, should be ** if GOU and EFN are "alike triangles"**

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

If triangle GOU is similar to triangle EFN, then: <G is congruent to <E <O is congruent to <F <U is congruent to <N
