MEDAL FOR THE CORRECT ANSWER! What type of line is the graph of x = -2? vertical horizontal rising falling

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jk

OpenStudy (amriju):

x=-2 basically means a graph that has x ordinate of -2 always...and the y ordinate can have any value..since the eqn is not dependent on y...so think of some points lyk this..and try plotting it in the mind

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would it be vertical or horizontal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Vertical

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that what i said lol

OpenStudy (amriju):

plot x axis horizontally and y axis vertically...now plot the correspondfing points in ur mind...u shud be able to work that out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If a line only has an x coordinate, it is vertical. The same goes for y, except that it's horizontal then.
