help me pls. Determine the magnitude of pull in moving the object up a plane at constant speed.
well madam, you haven't mentioned any details.. but.. here is some food for thought in order to make sure that the object is moving at a constant velocity, the net force acting on it must be zero. Now depending on your question, there could be 2 forces acting on it, gravitational force and frictional force, and now you should also apply a force such that the net force (all three together) must be zero!
can u help me in finding the solution to this problem? it may look incomplete because it needs more dtails, but that's the problem we need to answer, and i'm asking for help brcause i don't know how to answer that problem

It means that there is no acceleration which in turn implies an absence of unbalanced forces. Since any object would have some weight m*g we resolve this into components along the incline and perpendicular to the incline. we get mg*Sin x pointing down the incline. to balance this downward force there must be an equal and opposite force on the block. So apply mg*Sin x up the plane to move the block with constant speed. PS: This proof assumes the plane to be friction less. Friction would change the final answer

IN such case, no movement, or moving with a constant velocity mean the same thing in physics.. when net force acting on a body is zero, its either at rest or moving with uniform motion..
After exerting equal and opposite forces, you must strike it if you wanta move it with a constant velocity.
I confirm Mashy's message, the answer will drive from net force = 0. If not, the body will accelerate and not keep a constant velocity.
