1. A pinhole camera (also referred to as a camera obscura) is a simple camera without a lens and with a single small aperture – effectively a light-proof box with a small hole in one side. Light from a scene passes through this single point and projects an inverted image on the opposite side of the box. The human eye in bright light acts similarly, as do cameras using small apertures.
2. We have photographs taken with the camera obscura to prove that it existed before the nineteenth century.
3.Calotype or talbotype is an early photographic process introduced in 1841 by William Henry Fox Talbot, using paper coated with silver iodide. The paper was exposed to light, creating an image.
4.The Kodak Brownie was a film camera developed by the Kodak company. They made it easy for the general public to take photographs by providing them with the camera and enough film to take several photos. When the customer was done, they would send the camera and the film back to the Kodak company where it would be developed and their camera would be refilled with film.
5. Richard Maddox invented the dry plate process.
