Yes that is correct. Regardless of how the article is capitalized, you will always change it to sentence case when citing it on your APA reference page. Of course the exceptions would be with proper names and beginning subtitles that are set off with a colon. Babe Ruth: The Greatest Baseball Player Ever would become: Babe Ruth: The greatest baseball player ever. Also always remember that each element of your reference is ended with a period except for websites (no punctuation) and publication location for books (colon). Jones, S. (2010, May 5).
