You'll want to factor both num'r and den'r first.
I'm assuming that your instructions are to "simplify the expression" or something along those lines. Once you factor everything, you'll see if there are common factors that can be cancelled.
The num'r has greatest common factor of 2, so factor that out first. Then both numerator and denominator will factor pretty easily.

Double check your signs on those domain restrictions...?
but other than that, looks right to me. Just fix those signs! :) Good job! It's important to remember (as you did) that even though a factor cancels when you reduce the expression to lowest form, you still have to make sure that the domain does not include any values that make that den'r=0. :)
