Well.. Think about it.. You got a time ranging from t=1 to t =6.. Your question is asking 2 things.. Displacement and Total Distance.. It might be good to double check what the meaning of each implies. That's the first step. You are also given a velocity function, which, if you plugged in the bounds you are given only gets you the velocity at those points.. So if you integrate the function, the velocity function changes to a displacement function. Hope that hints you to good start.
