OpenStudy (australopithecus):

\[5^4 = 5(5)(5)(5)\] \[3^2 = (3)(3)\] etc using powers is just an easier way to express a multiples of the same number

so if 10^2 =10*10 =100 what mean that 10 on exponent 2 is equal an result formed from 1 and 2 zeros so after 1 we get zeros number equale with exponent 10^3 =10*10*10 = 100*10 = 1000 so the same resulted after 1 the zeros number equal with exponent so than 10^6 will be 1 and six zeros so 1.000.000 hope so much that now is understandably sure right easy
