OpenStudy (oaktree):

Are you there, @hello1213?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (oaktree):

Great. So how familiar are you with trigonometry?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

familiar i know cos tan and sin

OpenStudy (oaktree):

Great. So how would you tackle part a, do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cos 37 degrees = a/10 which would get me to about 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a is about8

OpenStudy (oaktree):

Right. So what do you have questions on? You basically know how to solve all of them!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well do i estimate it to about 7.96 or 8?

OpenStudy (oaktree):

It really doesn't matter at all. I would write down one or two decimal points, in case the teacher wants you to be more exact, but in reality no one is that nitpicky.

OpenStudy (oaktree):

Thanks for the medal!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks i guess ill do 7.96 then because i cant estimate to one decimal place cause it would be 8.0

OpenStudy (oaktree):

Okay. That's good.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for the help.

OpenStudy (oaktree):

Anytime.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i meant 7.99
