state the three versions of 2nd law of Thermodynamics
help please :(
Thermodynamics is basically a phenomenological science based on certain laws of nature which are always obeyed and never seem to be violated. These are four basic laws of thermodynamics 1. Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics 2. First Law of Thermodynamics 3. Second Law of Thermodynamics 4. Third Law of Thermodynamics More information on Second Law of Thermodynamics at http://goo.gl/LN3gUX
I'm just guessing, but the three versions could be: Heat flows from an hotter object to a colder object The entropy of any action must be greater or equal to zero. Reactions proceed in the direction of increasing entropy.
I just add a bit to the 2. statement: "The entropy of any SPONTANEOUS action IN AN ISOLATED SYSTEM must be greater or equal to zero."
