can you guys tell me the tenses for esta, and eres im confused on exactly how they are used and the tenses thank you in advance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When we talk about "tense," we think about the "present tense" and "preterite tense" and "future tense," and etc. Is that what you're thinking about? Or are you thinking about just the present tense conjugations? Present-tense conjugations, in English, are like this..... "I am." "You are." "He is." "We are." "They are."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes the present tense conjugations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. We'll start with "estar." Remember the accent marks, because they're very important, kay? ------------ (Yo) Estoy (Tú) Estás (él/ella/usted) Está (Nosotros) Estamos (Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes) Están ------------- And now, I'll show you "ser." And yes, the infinitive form of this verb is SER. It's not "eres." You'll see: (Yo) Soy (Tú) Eres (él/ella/usted) Es (Nosotros) Somos (Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes) Son
