Find the parametric equations of line l which passes through D(-6,7,2) and is parallel to vector a=<2,-4,5>. I am really not sure where to start aside from graphing

@Aenn88 you have the required line parallel with a. Therefore, you can consider a as direction vector of the required line. you have formula to get the parametric equation from direction vector <a, b, c> and a point \(x_1,y_1,z_1\) It says, x = \(x_1\) +at y =\(y_1\)+ bt z= \(z_1\)+ct your "direction vector is <2,-4,5> your point is (-6,7,2) just replace them into the set of equation above. How is it hard?
