OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use interval notation to define each interval. All real numbers within 10 units of 12.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ten units to the right takes you up to \(12+10=22\) how about ten units to the left?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would you write that in interval notation though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can't do it until you know what ten units to the left of 12 is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so between 2 and 22 interval notation is \([2,22]\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be brackets instead of parentheses?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is what I put on my paper but my algebra 2 teacher counted it as wrong.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm maybe there's more to it, if we had a quick screenshot maybe to check it out otherwise the answer [2, 22] is correct
