"Use integration by parts to evaluate the indefinite integral when x>0 ∫ln(x^15)dx." I got 15xln(x)-15x as my answer but my online homework says it's not the most general solution. How do I take into account the "x>0" part?

put that stupid plus C maybe?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-.- i cannot believe i didn't think of that, wow. i feel stupid now, thank you for pointing that out lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the \(x>0\) part is just because you cannot take the log of a negative number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh that makes sense. i hadn't seen that before. thanks for giving me that extra tidbit :)
