Which of the following could be the sides of a 45-45-90 triangle? (1 point) A.) 5, 10, B.) 15, 15, C.) 11, 22, D.) 6, 8, 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which of the following could be the lengths of the sides of a 45°-45°-90° triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D is quite false...i think B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree with PfEH and Da on this one :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sides would be x, x, and x sqrt of 2 ... so when trying a) 5, 5, and 5 square root of 2 are not the sides given. We are given 5 and 10 -- and 10 is not 5 square root of two ... so a is wrong

If the hypotenuse of a 45°-45°-90° triangle is 13, what is the length of one of the legs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just saying ... be sure to memorize the patterns for 45 45 90 triangles and 30 60 90 triangles. they will keep showing up in different ways

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill give you equation and you give me answer.... if x square root of 2 = 13 then x = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because x square root of 2 is for the hypotenuse and x is for the legs... therefore, solve for x... [13/\sqrt{2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hahahahha dont ask my any question about math cuz am not good at it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

13/ sq root of 2

are u a student or a teacher?? OMG u so smart!!!
