C. Next, graph y = (-1/10)x2 + 6. Describe what you see. How is what you observe here different from what you observed in part A?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Where's part A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was to graph -2x(squared) + 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you still there?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Patience. Volunteers have valuable time. I am always trying to service about 5 people at a time to maximize my effort. Okay, so what do you notice? They both open the same direction. Is one fatter than the other?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry, but i dont know how to graph them sooo i honestly cant tell the difference

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Well, then you can't solve this problem. Why are you being asked to solve such a problem if you have not been given the tools to solve it? Smaller coefficients lead to fatter graphs.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea, but thanks for your time and effort

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

There are various tools that can draw the graphs for you. Even a nook might have that capability. Can you track down any such tool? Graphing calculator? Online resources?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can try online but im not sure if its actually gonna help

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

If you can get them on the same set of coordinate axes, you should see it very easily.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ook thanks
