Awesome so what is a ratio?
It gives us the value for which something would be divided.

So here they want you to answer in the form of ratios..
2:3 means 2 parts and 3 parts of 90'

Let us say that they wanted to divide 10doughnuts in the ratio 2:3
Then it would be divided as 4:6 [The whole is 10] which is = 2:3

Well how do we do that?

If a ratio is ever given to you...
The actual value of the parts would be given by a common term multiplied to the ratio.

For example here: 2:3 means 4:6 [Whole: 10] means 8:12 [Whole: 20] means 16: 24 [Whole: 40]

So above everything is actually = 2:3

Let the common term multiplied to 2:3 in our question be x

So 2x:3x is the actual ration of the angles.

2x + 3x gives us the whole = 90
5x = 90
x = 18'

So the common term that we multiply to the ratio 2:3 to get the actual value of the angles is 18'

So the angles = 2*18 and 3*18 = 36 and 54 which ultimately result in the ratio 36:54 = 2:3 in the simplifies manner and add upto 90.

So we divided 90 into 2 parts of 36 and 54 in the ratio 2:3.
