is sec(x) linear or non linear?

OpenStudy (dan815):

non

OpenStudy (dan815):

as 1/cosx=secx

OpenStudy (dan815):

okay no thats not a good argument 1/cosx = (cosx^)-1 which is just non linear... do you need proof

OpenStudy (dan815):

for a linear function the derivative is constant and as we know derivative of cos x is again -sin x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much

OpenStudy (dan815):

np :)

OpenStudy (dan815):

i see

OpenStudy (dan815):

OpenStudy (dan815):
