I need help please... I just need help with c. Jack's pet dog has been prescribed x mg of a medicine per day. Each pill of the medicine has 10 mg of the medicine. Jack has to give his dog a total of 30 pills. If Jack gave his dog medicine for 9 days, use the expression below to interpret the situation. 30 - 9 times x over 10 Part A: What does x over 10 represent? (3 points) Part B: What does the second term of the expression represent? (3 points) Part C: What does the entire expression represent? (4 points)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know why the 30 is in there...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30 is the total pills to give to his dog

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, but why is it in the equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You subtract the equation from 30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah because that's the total amount of pills the dog should take

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I still don't get it...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 30?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, does he give his dog 30 pills everyday, or 9 days?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for 9 days only, and he has only a total of 30 pills

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok, thanks. How do we find c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what's your answer anyway for A and B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a) how many pills each day if Jack's dog has to have x mg amount of medicine. b) How many pills Jack's dog has to have for 9 days.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = 33 I think!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah x = 33. something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the question does not looking for value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then, I don't know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It represents if he has enough pills for 9 days.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What about the amount of medicine the dog has to take per day?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he has to take about 3 pills a day

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean in part C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It represents if he has enough pills for 9 days.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just bump this up, so that others will see it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confuse also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8 need help here :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
