if youre dealing with inequalities it means that there is no line under the inequality sign i think :)

a line under the > or < sign is always solid!

<, > "strict inequality" \(\le, \ge\) "weak inequality" But the real question is what does that MEAN in terms of the graph of the solution set to the linear inequality? How do you "translate" that to what it tells you about the solution set, as it relates to the graph?
