No. X is less than two. So why would you shade to the right? The shaded should be to the left because it's less than, heading toward the negatives, not the positives.
You graphed x > 2
well i thought less then meant you shade below the line

Less than means you're shading less-than the given option. For eg. If I said, "less than 5." I wouldn't shade to the right, because I'd be going greater than five. I'd want to start at five and shade to the left. Think of it this way, shade to the side that the arrow points to. Your intersection is on the x line, so you can cancel y > 2 and y < 2
