How I state the slope and the y intercept of this equation cx + y = d?

OpenStudy (tester97):

its kinda like with the other question subtract the x from both sides and thats the slope intercept form

OpenStudy (tester97):

and whatever is with 'x' that is the slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please guide me through

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ill try

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here is an example. 4x +2y = 10 subtract 4x from both sides because the slope intercept formula is y=mx+b where b is the y intercept and m is the slope 2y = -4x+ 10 Now you must divide by 2 on each so that y = 1 y = -2x + 5 Slope = -2 y intercept = 5

OpenStudy (tester97):

\[cx+y=d\] subtract cx \[y=-cx+d\] and thats it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanx tester but I like explanation more

OpenStudy (tester97):

its cool :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could someone help me?

Help me on the other question plz
