OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would you expand (x-1)^4

OpenStudy (yttrium):

For easier method, you can apply the principle of Pascal's Triangle. Do you know that?

OpenStudy (yamyam70):

(x-1)(x-1)(x-1)(x-1), then combine like terms, which is the long method.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i've heard it but it will take too long for me in the exam any other method? @Yttrium

OpenStudy (yamyam70):

Just like @Yttrium said, use the pascal's triangle :)

OpenStudy (yttrium):

maybe you can do this way ((x-1)^2)^2

OpenStudy (yamyam70):

I think this video would help you understand "pascal's triangle" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMr9ZF1jgNc

OpenStudy (yttrium):

@xandrineguillo Do you know how to do it now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i discovered the binomial thoerem :) thank you

OpenStudy (yttrium):
