you are riding on a ferris wheel that is 60 feet tall it takes 5 minutes to make 1 revolution what is your linear velocity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am thinking you have to divide 60 by 5 to find the velocity I am not sure but I'm thinking that if you divide these two numbers you will get 12 for the linear velocity.

the ferris wheel makes a single rotation in 5 minutes this means the angular velocity is .2 rpm now im assuming that 60 feet is the diameter of the ferris wheel and when you want to convert angular velocity into linear velocity, only the radius is required now the question at this point is, what units do you want the linear speed to be in?
