I'm going to trust that you've done sequences before, and here we go the formula for a geometric sequence(one that multiplies by a number) is \[t _{n}=t _{1}r ^{n-1}\]

OpenStudy (homeworksucks):

That is, the nth term of a sequence is equal to the first term times the common ratio (-2 i guess) raised to the n-1 power

1, -2, 4, -8, 16, -32 n1, n2, n3, n4, n5, n6 n1, n1*-2, n2*-2, n3*-2, n4*-2, n5*-2

OpenStudy (homeworksucks):

so, plugging that in we get t6=1*-2^5
