thomaster (thomaster):

You were already helped with this in your previous question. Don't ignore them and post it again. People are not here to do your work. Show some effort.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

help me thomaster plz i got like 10min left

thomaster (thomaster):

Find your answer in the link @ryaan gave you. http://resources.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/customs/questions/royal/guard.htm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i've read that i need tell in words not from web

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Then paraphrase something there. Write it in your words. If any of us write it in ours, it will be here, on the web, and searchable.

thomaster (thomaster):

When we gave you the answer in our words, that wouldn't be your words. You're just trying to get an answer you can copy. that's called plagiarism and cheating.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if that person who gave answer dont mind that dosent count palagarism

thomaster (thomaster):

It doesn't matter if the one giving you the answer minds it or not. It's still cheating.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnx thomas ur great "expert"

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

@Mr.ClayLordMath You do not know the meaning of plagiarism. To plagiarize is to use the work of others without crediting the source. Even if a person says, "Sure, great, use this!" it does not matter. The plagiarism is when you do not say, "Soandso wrote this, not me." Look it up. It is in the dictionary. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/plagiarize

thomaster (thomaster):

I'm not an english "expert"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that plagiarism this web should be down cause every one copy here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if*

thomaster (thomaster):

You can't blame that on this website, there are just a lot of lazy students who let others do their work. But don't work about that, they only get themselves in the end because they will fail their tests. Be smart and do your homework, I know it's boring but it'll pay off someday.

thomaster (thomaster):

don't worry*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-.- why would i need study UK if i dont need it in my life or i go their

thomaster (thomaster):

It's the principle, not just this question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know but why i need this do i live their?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

If you work in business, one of the things you will need to do is research topics. Even a basic purchase requires research. Then, when recommending a purchase you need to write about it. This sort of basic research and information relay is typical in life. THAT is what you are learning about, not guards.

thomaster (thomaster):

wow you stole my words @e.mccormick :P

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

@thomaster That is like the MIT 6.00 CS class. It uses programming, but it is not really a programming class. The goal is to teach how to break down a problem into logical components and deal with them. In many, many introductory level classes I have found the topic to be about a process and no the thing listed in the name of the class. Once you learn the processes, you can apply them in many parts of your life.
