Two vectors, A⃗ and B⃗ , whose magnitudes are A = 6.9 and B = 5.5. A is going positive on x axis and B is going opposite towards -x.. I calculate the magnitude of A+B and A-B I thought the direction was +x but I was wrong, what is the direction?

What is the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The resulting vector will point down the positive X axis because A's magnitude is greater than B's

Hmm, that's what i answered. Im using a mastering physics program I may have to re look at the correct way to input answers. Thanks though

I misread it was degrees theta. Thanks for the help though
