No problem :) how about it ? 2x-5=0 find x . you have to add 5 to both sides 2x=5 now divide both sides by 2 x=2.5

-12 < 6x - 24/3 -12 + 8 < 6x -4 < 6x -4/6 < x - 2/3 < x 6x - 24/3 < 4 6x < 4 + 8 6x < 12 x < 2
