Yesterday while solving a numerical problem in optics, I had a doubt! While solving I realised that there were two ways of doing it, first was the conventional way(which involved a lot of math), and the other which involved little math and more thinking! So in the second way, I argued that any part of a concave mirror will form the same image as would the whole mirror combined together, condition being that the part of the mirror considered must be aligned in such a way as would that part of the mirror would be aligned if the whole mirror was seen! Would there be any intensity difference?
