Simplify 15^-4 ------- 15^5 http://gyazo.com/43afdf0ec41c6cba4263b1189e328902

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Use this logic \[\frac{a^5}{a^7}\] = \(a^{5-7} = a^{-2}\) Or \[\frac{b^5}{b^{-9}}\] = \(a^{5-(-9)} = a^{5+9} = a^{14}\) Understood? So If the bases are the same and are divided their powers will be subtracted with the same base. Okay? :)
