I still do not know how to put the points on the graph.

How do you get the answer?

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

it says that y is less than (or fewer than) -7 so, what is "y" or anything that is fewer than -7? -7.0000000000000000000000000001 is correct? -7.00000000000000000000000000000000000001 is correct? now it seems that it can go on forever the way how we make our lives easier is to indicate in our interval y=(-∞,-7) the ")" indicates that it does not include -7, but instead any value smaller than. the reason we used "(" for our negative infinity is that there is no way for us to reach infinity value, so in essence we cannot really include it, but instead we just indicate the farthest value our y should be.
