e^((1/2)ln x) not sure what happens to the 1/2 If it was just e^(ln x) the answer is x....hmmm?

Yeah, any consant multiplying in front of an ln can be brought inside of the ln and be made into a power. So the 1/2 is pulled out from in front and turned into a power of x. So (1/2)lnx = ln[x^(1/2)]
