What is the area of a circle with a radius of 2 meters? Use twenty-two sevenths for pi. need this in fraction form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pi = ? What did u say ???

OpenStudy (yttrium):

If you know the formula of circle's area, maybe this one is an easy problem for you. :))

OpenStudy (yttrium):

@E.ali 22/7 is the fraction from of 3.14 but @iceicebaby , for me it is not the accurate value of pi. :)) It must be 3.141516...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think we should get pi another number ...

OpenStudy (yttrium):

*form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi times the radius of the circle squared

OpenStudy (yttrium):

Yes. so? Sustituting it, you'll get what? And that's the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Yttrium:22/7 is the fraction from of 3.14 ?????heh!

OpenStudy (yttrium):

Do I need to show you how it come @E.ali ? It's actually 3.142857

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know this but I want to know how can we have : 3.14=22/7 ???!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

22/7 * 2*2 22/7 * 4 88/7

OpenStudy (yttrium):

@JOELMATHEWS1234 , maybe not so much generous with answer. :D minimise your replies.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get you , what should i do @Yttrium

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so would the answer be 12 and 4 sevenths

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are u saying !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12 and 4 - 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well 12 4 - 7

OpenStudy (yttrium):

Stop giving the answers. Maybe just solutions or tips. @JOELMATHEWS1234 88/7 and 12 4/7 are both acceptable @iceicebaby

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but isn't this place for getting answers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Yttrium

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it is a place to HELP people find their solutions

OpenStudy (yttrium):

Yes. I was once doing those things. But, the moderator sometimes are giving notice. I'm just concern, well if you want to continue. Then go. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah ! They said to me too !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol you guys are blowing this thing up with replies

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK ! but I realy didnt understand your question !:)

OpenStudy (yttrium):

hahahaha! @E.ali ! Isn't it that our approxiamate value for pi is 3.14. That's why they theorized that in fraction it's in 22/7. hahahaha hope you get it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
