I have to write the expression -8-(3+2i)-(9-4i) in standard form and I don't know what to do with the -8

I think it means to collect like terms and simply it... and to put it in order *as in x y z #* ill show below what i mean

-8 -(3+2i) - (9-4i) can be arranged to -8 -3 -2i - 9 +4i since the - was distrusted into the parenthesis then putting the alike terms together gets you -8 -3 -9 -2i + 4i -11-9 +2i -20+2i which is better to right as 2i -20 so we use less +/- symbols 2i-20 can then be written as 2(i-10) since we factored out the 2 and its in a simple standard form now...
