How do I remember what a converse, inverse, conditional, biconditional, and contrapositives are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

construct a truth table... maybe that will work for you

I've found trying to remember the distinction between converse and inverse unintuitive.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You literally have to read the definitions until it sticks...thats how i got it (: bye!

hero (hero):

You can construct a truth table, then you'd have to memorize the truth table. It's definitely not intuitive.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Start with this: Conditional: If p, then q. Converse: If q, then p. Inverse: If not p, then not q. Contrapositive: If not q, then not p. Biconditional: the conditional and its converse are true.
