what point of view is the story V for Vantetta told
I believe it's from the liberal side. But many times it conflicts with liberal policies themselves.
For example, complete isolationism, something that is quite common in the film, is a policy of Democrats / liberals. Conservatives would be all over the civil war in America.
Also, the curfews in the film itself represent the government listening, which is to imply that the Patriot Act is abusing it's power, yet it's NSA during a Democratic presidency that has constantly spied on Americans. So the film itself is a HUGE fallacy considering conservatives do not want to ban guns, something that would essentially be used to defeat such tyrannic government as the one portrayed in the film.
It's a UK film, but that doesn't matter. The representation is quite the same.
